How do I tell my bridesmaids that they have to pay for their own dress? Two of them have never been in a wedding before.

The fact that they havent been in a wedding should make this easy because they dont know any different. Just explain that when somebody stands up in a wedding, they are responsible to pay for what they wear. There are ways that you can help with this without paying out of your own pocket. First, pick a reasonably priced dress, Second, Pick a color and let them pick out their own dress, this will allow them to not only find something within their budget, but also something that fits their bodies.
